This erect, slender stemmed perennial stands up to 5 feet tall, with narrow, grey-hairy leaves. It blooms mostly in late summer, carrying dozens of half inch blossoms in a narrow spike at each shoot tip. The flowers in this particularly floriferous selection are colored rather dark, true blue.
