This showy relative of Agave and Yucca has rosettes, or crowns, of 2 foot grey green leaves, sword shaped like those of yucca but soft and flexible. The rosettes branch at the base to form compact clumps. In early summer thick coral pink flowering shoots rise 3-6 feet from older rosettes to display green and red, bell shaped blossoms. This is a striking specimen plant, and much less temperamental than many of its relatives. Sun, most soils, moderate to occasional watering.
