Very dense, feathery dark green foliage forms a dense springy clump to 3-4 feet high; thin flower stems to 5 feet have golden bracts. Flower stems are ornamental for many months before actual bloom occurs. Good accent plant. Sun, reasonably well drained soil, moderate watering.
