An evergreen Australian iris ally with densely clustered shoots from a short, branched rhizome. The light green, narrow 1 inch leaves are held rigidly erect in close fans. The flower stems arise in summer carrying beautiful lavender, iris-like blossoms. Each lasts only one day, but several more appear in succession from the same stem. Sun, well drained soil, moderate watering.
