A spreading, bushy shrublet, this monkeyflower has narrow, dark green leaves and blossoms up to 2 inches long and broad, the spreading face often ruffled. Petals are bright orange edged white, and can appear from spring to fall. For the heaviest bloom, the plants should be cut back two or three times each season. Sun to light shade, well drained soil, moderate to occasional watering when established. Hardy to 15 degrees F. or less.
