This uncommon species iris can be found in the Klamath Ranges of far northern California, as well as in western Oregon. It is smaller in scale than the Pacifica hybrids, and makes neat clumps of narrow, bluish green leaves. Light yellow flowers with dark veining are profuse in spring. Part shade, well drained soil, moderate to little watering.
