'Cloverdale' is a prostrate, slightly mounding California fuchsia selection with particularly broad, light grey-green leaves and the typical vivid scarlet flowers. Flower color is toward the orange side of the scarlet spectrum. Occasional watering will encourage better appearance and longer bloom. All zauschnerias are attractive to hummingbirds.
