Low rounded shrub with stiff stems and small, tough leaves keeps compact form all year and is covered with clusters of tiny, bright blue purple flowers in spring. Easy care plant will do well with little summer water, in sun or part shade. Introduced by the U.C. Davis Arboretum in the "Arboretum All-Stars" program.
