This selection by David Fross of Native Sons Nursery is a compact, creeping shrub with small, closely packed leaves somewhat resembling those of C. gloriosus. Leaves are greyish green above, nearly white with wool beneath. Dense, short, soft lavender flower clusters are displayed along the younger stems in spring. An excellent small to medium scale ground cover for open banks.
