Rich forest green leaves provide a great contrast to the single, vivid red-orange flowers freely produced on this dahlia selection. Blooms early summer to fall. Reaching 5 feet in height, these plants do not need staking. Of easy culture but will grow and bloom best in a sunny site with rich, reasonably well drained soil and regular watering while in growth and bloom. Root-hardy despite freezes of 15 degrees F or less, though fairly tender above ground.
